M4: Demonstrate how the exported media product meets the client brief
M2: Export the final footage into the planned or final format

This is the final version of the film 



The final product was exported into a file format of MP4. The reason for this was because ti will be easy to distribute and the quality will be the best when streamed, if I was to download it as another file format the final product will be burry which will lead the audience to not being able to see the footage properly and due to this product being used for advertisement if audiences was to see this in a low quality they wouldn't want to watch it. 

 When I finished the final editing and put both the teaser scene and title sequence shots together, I exported it as a H.264 codec as a Video and Audio format. The reason why I did this because the client brief has said that these two audio-visual products will be intended for the opening credits and will aid in the marketing and advertising of the programme. H.264 codec provides a good video quality and would be suitable to upload and use on a wide range of files. Due to the fact this product would be used for advertising, it can be uploaded anywhere, therefore exporting it as a H.264 codec would give it a higher chance to be uploaded and streamed anywhere. Due to it being on BBC iPlayer it would be easily to download for individuals to download and watch it easily. 


Due to the BBC 3 being the distributors of this production, BBC3 is known to be an online streaming platform therefore it would need for the format to be video and audio, and MP4 files cover a range of software and will be the most suitable option. Although a MOV file can work on platforms it doesn't cover a wide range so it was ideal to export it as an MP4 file.  In addition, because it will aid in the marketing and advertising of the programme, my team and I decided that we will have YouTube as our other distributing platform as it has the potential to reach millions of people and is a good tool for audiences to find new content. Watching it on YouTube would allow it to be streamed easily. 

Here I have attached a screenshot of the exporting settings that allowed me to change the format and the codec of the exported final footage:
