P3: Create a production plan for audio-visual content using special effecs

Storyboard

This is the mood board we created for our media product, that includes annotations as to why we used these particular images.


Synopsis
Our teaser scene will take place in a conference room where the head of the mission, heather, will be explaining the objective of the expedition to members of her team. Whilst she is speaking, the camera will cut to different actions that Captain Crain will be doing to prepare herself for the expedition ahead. This scene will end with a shot of Captain Crain saying that she is ready and her pressing the button. After this happens, the teaser scene will lead onto the title sequence. Our title sequence will consist of shots of space, the space station and its captain as this is the central to the storyline and will give the audience and insight into the main focus of the show. Throughout the title sequence, the names of the cast members and the executive producer will be shown, as this is a requirement by the client in the brief. We have decided to include an explosion at the end of the sequence as we want to build suspense and this adds to the storyline that was given to us in the client brief. In regards to talent, we will have one main actress for captain Crain, one actress for Heather and a few voices perhaps, for her crew, though our focus will be primarily on the space station itself and thus we will not have many actors.
